Tech Stack
I care more about reliability and clarity than hype. These are tools I actually use.
- Frameworks: Astro, Next.js, plain HTML/CSS where appropriate
- Styling: Tailwind CSS, minimal custom CSS
- WordPress: Bricks Builder, performance-focused setups, OpenLiteSpeed, caching
- Servers: Proxmox (virtualisation), LXC and Docker for services
- Self-hosted services: Nextcloud, Immich, Uptime Kuma, DNS resolvers, controllers
- Web stack: OpenLiteSpeed / Nginx, Let’s Encrypt / ACME, Cloudflare in front
- Azure (especially for nonprofit / credits use)
- Budget-conscious VPS and hosting providers
- Cloudflare for DNS, security, and caching
- n8n and similar tools for workflow automation
- Git + CI/CD for website deployments
- Monitoring and alerting for key services
If you’re reading this as a fellow nerd and want more detail, I’ll probably write deep-dive posts on the blog.
